These Terms govern your use of HYR Studio, a content-generation product operated by Heal Your Roots Systems Inc. d/b/a HYR Systems (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to them.
1. Your account
- You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EU) and able to form a binding contract.
- You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account.
- You may not share a single seat across multiple humans on a paid plan; each human user needs their own seat.
2. Subscriptions, credits, and billing
- Plans are billed in advance, monthly or annually. Web subscriptions are processed by Stripe; iOS subscriptions by Apple; Android subscriptions by Google.
- Each plan grants a monthly credit allowance for AI generations. Unused credits do not roll over month-to-month unless explicitly stated for that plan.
- Cancellations stop the next renewal but do not refund the current billing period (except where required by Apple, Google, or local law).
- Apple / Google manage refunds for purchases made through their stores; HYR Systems cannot issue them directly.
- If you migrate from a Stripe web subscription to an Apple / Google mobile subscription, the Stripe sub is scheduled to cancel at period end and you keep entitlement until the later of the two periods.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Generate content that infringes copyright, trademark, publicity, or privacy rights.
- Generate sexual content involving minors, terrorist content, content inciting violence, or content that violates the safety policies of our underlying model providers.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or otherwise abuse the Service to extract training data.
- Resell raw API access or wrap the Service as a competing offering.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.
4. Your content
- You retain all ownership of source material you upload and the AI outputs generated from it, to the extent permitted by law.
- You grant us a non-exclusive licence to host, process, and display that content for the purpose of operating the Service for you.
- We do not use your content to train HYR's own models. When you request an AI feature, we send the content needed for that feature to the provider identified in our Privacy Policy; the provider processes it under its applicable terms, privacy policy, and service settings.
5. AI outputs — disclaimer
AI-generated content can be inaccurate, biased, or unsuitable. You are responsible for reviewing every output before publishing or relying on it. The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of accuracy, fitness, or non-infringement.
6. Chrome extension and third-party platforms
The HYR Studio Chrome extension (the “Extension”) is part of the Service and is governed by these Terms. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the Extension with your HYR Studio account. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, or redistribute it except as permitted by law.
- The Extension can insert content into webpages you choose and can retrieve or apply content for videos and Shorts you select in YouTube Studio. When you start an action, you authorize the Extension to make the changes needed for that action in the connected Service or platform.
- You are responsible for reviewing content and destinations before you publish, submit, or otherwise rely on them, for having the rights to the content you use, and for having authority over the accounts and pages you ask the Extension to modify.
- When you use the Service or Extension with YouTube or another platform, you must also follow that platform's terms and rules. Your use of YouTube features is subject to the YouTube Terms of Service. HYR Studio uses YouTube API Services, and our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. See our Privacy Policy for details about information from Google and YouTube.
- Third-party services and page layouts can change, which may limit or interrupt Extension features. We do not guarantee that the Extension will work with every site, account, or page layout. We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue the Extension or its features. You are responsible for installing updates through the distribution method made available to you; we do not promise automatic Chrome Web Store updates.
- Uninstalling the Extension does not delete your HYR Studio account or content. Extension actions that use AI or other metered features may use the credits or plan allowance associated with your account.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Heal Your Roots Systems Inc.’s total liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
8. Termination
You may close your account at any time from Account Settings. We may terminate accounts that violate these Terms or remain inactive on a paid plan for an extended period, after reasonable notice.
9. Changes
We will revise these Terms when our policies change. Material changes will be announced in-app at least 14 days before they take effect; continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. For Apple App Store users, the EULA published by Apple also applies; in case of conflict, the Apple EULA controls for App Store transactions.
